Seth Roop Lal Aggrawal Memorial Gold Medal (oral presentation)
Young scientists below the age of 35 years are eligible for this award. Two copies of full paper along with abstracts are to be submitted to the organizing secretary. The award winners will be selected for the best presentation and awards will be presented at the time of conference (award winner must be a lifetime member of the Society).
STOX Gold Medal (best poster presentation)
Young scientists below the age of 35 years are eligible and must be a lifetime member of the Society. The award winner will be selected for the best poster presentation and awards will be presented at the time of conference.
Prof P.K. Gupta Travel Award
Prof (Dr) P.K.Gupta travel award (2nd class to and fro rail fare) will be available to Young Scientists interested to compete for Young Scientist Gold Medal Award for oral presentation provided full paper is sent in advance to Executive Secretary ( STOX), C-44, Rajinder Nagar, Bareilly - 243 122 (UP) India. The candidate must be a lifetime member of the Society.
Ram Lal 'Shad' Gold Medal Award
The award is for the best article published in Journal "Toxicology International". The award winners will be selected alternate year for the best research article published during proceeding two years in the Journal.
Gold Medal Award to Organizing Secretary
The award is presented to the organizing of the conference for his/her sincere efforts in arranging the conference.
Fellowships of STOX
The candidate must have good standing in the field of toxicology. Candidate may request the headquarters for an application. The last date for submission of application is 30th June each year.
Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Awards
The award is for the distinguished scientists who have made significant contribution in the field of toxicology. The minimum age for the award is 55years.The nominations must be submitted by the 30th June each year.
STOX/ASAW -Surajben Jethalal Thaker Prakruti Mandir Gold medals
The enhancement of animal welfare awards are presented annually to two scientists in recognition made to the advancement of animal welfare through the development and application of methods that replace, refine, or reduce the need for experimental animals. The award recognizes outstanding / significant contributions in alternative procedures that reduce the number of animals used. details...
Each award consists of a certificate, partial travel grant and a Gold Medal.

The awards will be presented to recognize individuals for i) outstanding / significant contributions in alternative procedures that reduce the number of animals used e.g. in vitro models, invertebrate organisms or by the responsible use of animals in research and ii) to reduce the cruelty to animals for the experiments or service rendered for the prevention of cruelty to laboratory animals and for sincere efforts to restore the health of animals experimented upon.

The following criteria will be used to select the recipients of the awards:
  • For the first award: A brief statement declaring how the candidate has been able to reduce the use of animals in research.
    For the second award: A brief account how the candidate has helped to reduce the cruelty to animals for experiments or brief account of services he has rendered for the prevention of cruelty to laboratory animals and the sincere efforts he has made to restore the health of animals experimented upon.
  • A curriculum vitae including e-mail address or fax number of the candidate.
  • A letter of recommendation from any scientific society or from fellows of Academy of Sciences for Animal Welfare or from Fellows of the Society of Toxicology, India or from the Directors of Scientific Institutions/ Vice Chancellors of Universities.

All nominations must be sent by 31st May each year at the following address . The awards will be presented in a scientific forum of the society.
