Mohanan, Secretary General of STOX, India (Scientist and Head, Toxicology Division, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, BMT Wing, Thiruvananthapuram 12, Kerala, Govt. of India) is authorized as a Certified Biological Safety Specialist by NAMSA, USA at a certification course held at Zurich, Switzerland.

The American Board of Toxicology (ABT), Inc. is pleased to announce that the October 2009 examination will be offered in Bangalore, India. This is in addition to being offered in Edinburgh, Scotland, and two locations in the United States, Sunnyvale, California, and Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. This will provide an opportunity for toxicologists in Asia to come to India to take the examination rather than going to the US or UK.

The exam dates are October 9-10, 2009. Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2009, with supporting documentation postmarked by May 31, 2009. For more information, please visit the ABT Web site.
